TRAINING:

Don't forget that EVERY Sunday morning 9.30 - 10.30am is training for all Juniors and Seniors. Everyone is welcome. Cost is $15.00

Training will not be running on the school holidays. A complete schedule of ice has been put together by the committee and will be posted to the Stars Website in the next week.

Registration:

All interested parties are welcome to register with the Southern Stars for 2008/09 from 1st February 2008. All registrations must be processed through the Stars NEW Online Regristration system - MyClubSport. Watch for the icon on the website from the 1st February. A full help is available on line. Payment is available via credit cards or debit cards (bearing the mirrored security image).
Anyone requiring assistance or has concerns/queries, please contact a committee member.

Mailout:

All current members of the Southern Stars should watch for the mailout currently being delivered via Australia Post. Anyone not receiving the mailout should contact the Secretary.

Happy New Year to Everyone!

Senior Social Hockey commences on Monday 7th January 2008 at 7.45pm. Please refer to your schedule or contact Ron Hughes for game times and details.

A correction to my previous emails regarding the cost due on Monday night. All players participating in the games are required to pay $45.00 by Monday 7th January or BEFORE stepping out on ice. This fee will over the ice time for three (3) Monday night ice sessions.

Before Christmas, I mentioned that the Stars are moving towards streamlining the registrations and fees in 2008. Our online system has moved through most of the usual implementation hiccups and is almost ready to be switched on. The system will be ready to take your 2008-09 registrations by the end of January, and nominations for special events like the Senior Social Hockey, within weeks.

This means that you will no longer pay the Senior Social Hockey fees to either Ron or myself on the night. You have needed to go on line before leaving home and paying your fees using your credit cards. The system will immediately email you a receipt for the payment. More details to come!

Until the system is up and running, your ice fees will still be taken on Monday night. See you all there!
