What to Wear to the Rink Be assured, with all that ice, it will be cold, very cold. Even if it is a 30 degree summer's day outside, you will need suitable warm clothing to enjoy watching the game. You will be sitting still for approximately two hours, so keeping warm is most important. Layers are the key! A t-shirt, then a jumper, followed by a good warm jacket at the very least. Gloves and a beanie are great too. Funny as it seems, if your feet are cold put on a hat. A foam seat is a good thing (camping cushion or similar). Take a blanket to throw over the knees and keep the heat in. Until you understand how much body heat can be lost sitting still in the cold these hints will be most useful to enjoy the game . There is a tonne of ice in there and the air temperature has to be kept low to keep it, especially in Queensland.
