Who are the Southern Stars?
The Southern Stars Ice Hockey Club Inc. is a non-profit club whose home training ground is Iceworld at Acacia Ridge.
Our sport caters for all ages – 3 to 103yrs old.
Ice hockey is a great way to get fit and make new friends.
We are very proud of our member's achievements over the last 18 years, which include several players representing Queensland in the National Tournaments.
In 2004, our club had 5 players under 11 yrs of age represent Qld in the first national under 11's tournament when our club had the youngest state player at the age of 7yrs old.
Our coaches are fully accredited A.I.S. coaches in all divisions for ice hockey and all are required to hold Blue Cards.
Spectators are welcome to attend any of our home games and training sessions.
